This was taken at the Irvine Spectrum in Irvine, California. It is a huge outdoor shopping mall here in Southern California. There’s really nothing special about this picture other than the rich colors and the what happened to me immediately after I took this picture. I was immediately approached by security guards. They informing me that taking pictures on private property was not allowed. This was my first photographic experience with the reality that we live in a world where taking a simple picture might be deemed as suspicious activity. Crazy huh?
