With all of the focus on Rome the past week I am surprised that I did not take the opportunity earlier to post up some of my pictures from Rome, Italy. The following is dawn at the entrance to the Vatican Museum in Vatican City, an enclave of Rome. The shot itself is simple yet I really like the colors and symbolism. With the passing of Pope John Paul II the catholic church and the world actively participating in the dawn of a new era.
