The view from the back side of Festung Hohensalzburg in Salzburg, Austria. On the backside of the fortress, in the middle of a large field sits a single house with several small pathways intersecting in front of it. With my impending fatherhood closing in (my wife is due the end of this month) this picture struck a symbolic chord with me after not having viewed it in months. I imagined the family representing my own family and the pathways representing all of the different adventures and choices ahead of us(Both individuall & as a Family). With each path we choose, new & different pathways and choices appear. I just hope my family and I have many more good options & decisions in the coming years than bad ones.
