Back in March I ran into an old friend at the gym. While catching up with him I found out that he had built a small photography studio in his office where he takes product shots. I’ve wanted to play around in a studio for a long time so this was a great opportunity to experiment with lighting and learn more about product photography.
Although I do like the DOF in this shot I realize now that if I were to retun I would use a lower Aperature, a higher ISO and possibly a different lens than my 16-35mm. The blurring although cool also is a bit distracting if this were a true product shot.
