Another photo from the archives. I haven’t made it outside to take many shots with all of the rain lately. Plus all of the projects I’m currently working on have kept me quite busy.
This shot is of some oil drills off of Highway 99 in rural central California. On a whim I pulled off the road in search of a way to take some pictures of these drills I had seen from the road. After about 30 minutes of driving down old abandoned roads I was rewarded with this shot. It was a little creepy driving alone in the middle of nowhere on old dirt roads. Every once in a while I would pass someone going the other way. Sometimes they would wave. Other times they would just stare at me probably wondering how I had stumbled into their world.
