Tokyo Tower at night. Two unfortunate things happened on the night I visited Tokyo Tower. First, I arrived 15 minutes after closing time so I could not take an elevator to the top for a panoramic view of the city. Upon arrival I also realized that I had accidentally left the head to my tripod on the floor of my hotel room rendering the base I brought with me useless. So I was forced to take handheld shots of the tower with my fastest lens and a wide open aperature. All things considered I still think the shots I did get turned out pretty good.
On a side note I just returned from a vacation visiting friends in Boise, Idaho for the 4th of July marking my last trip for at least a month. I should be posting regularly for the next month instead of just one or two pictures a week. With pictures from Tokyo, Yosemite and Boise Hopefully I can find some decent stuff to post.
