Archway of a building near the Piazza San Marcos in Venice, Italy. I’m in a serious B&W funk aren’t I? I think it is because Venice has so many stone textures that B&W seems a better choice when compared to the semi-warm/orange colors which came out in the color versions. That coupled with the mysterious ambience of the city makes for some interesting experiences from otherwise average shots. I titled this one “Couples” because it seems that almost everything in the picture is in pairs or symmetrical. There are even 2 pigeons to balance out the 2 people at the other end of the hallway.
