Capture Date/Time: October 13 2004 A long exposure of The Eiffel tower in Paris, France at dusk. Probably one of my favourite shots even if the structure has been photographed by millions of people over the years. On another horribly overcast and rainy Europe day I took a chance and dragged my wife back to the Eiffel tower for some night shots. I was really happy I did. After an hour on the metro we were elated to find the low cloud layer had lifted and opened up for this shot. About 10 minutes after taking this shot, the rain came back with a vengeance soaking us to the bone as we were walking to get dinner. |
