A couple of enthusiastic fans celebrating another outstanding routine by a UCLA Gymnast.The meet was at Pauly Pavilion on the UCLA campus during a Gymnastics meet between UCLA and Utah. UCLA has won 5 national championshiops in gymnastics (1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004) and it is always worth the drive up to Los Angeles to see them. My wife is a former scholarship gymnast at Boise State University, former assistant coach at Cal. State Fullerton and currently and is gymnastics Judge in the Southern California area. Needless to say gymnastics season is always an exiting time of year for us. It will hopefully be more exciting in the years to come with Tristen already walking and attempting headstands at 10 months old. Maybe one day she too will be a collegiate athlete like both of her parents.
